What We Build

Decks and covered outdoor living space, and not much else. We build new decks, we resurface existing ones, and we build covered porches including screened porches and vinyl window enclosures. We Frame at 12 Inches on Center

This is the part of a deck you will never see and the part that decides how the deck feels for the next twenty years. Code allows wider joist spacing, and most decks get built to that minimum. We frame at 12 inches on center as standard. The result is a floor that does not flex when someone walks past your chair, decking that sits flatter with less telegraphing, and a structure with real margin in it rather than one built exactly to the edge of what is permitted.

Brands We Install

Most of the decks we build today are TimberTech and AZEK. We also install Trex and build in pressure-treated lumber, and we carry railing from TimberTech, Trex, Key-Link, and Fortress, so we are comparing systems rather than selling the one line we happen to stock. On screened porches we use the ScreenEze system, and for window enclosures we use Oasis vinyl panels. For keeping the space under an elevated deck dry we install Trex RainEscape, TimberTech DrySpace and Zip Up rain systems.

Being brand-agnostic is the point. When somebody only installs one product line, every recommendation they make is also a sales pitch. We would rather walk you through the honest differences in cost, surface temperature, color range, grain, and warranty and let you pick.

HOA and County Approvals

We produce custom designed plan views for homeowners association submissions and county permitting, which in this area is frequently the thing that stalls a project for a month. Getting the drawing right the first time is cheaper than getting it kicked back. If your HOA has architectural guidelines, send them to us with your first email and we will design inside them rather than around them.
